This newly remodeled condo is right on North Beach, with stunning views of the beach, the bay, the USS Lexington, and downtown Corpus Christi from the balcony.

Available for short- or long-term leases, this condo is one of the most desirable bayfront units in Villa del Sol, a beachfront condo community with two large swimming pools (one heated) and hot tubs, covered parking, and a manned gate. Coin-operated washers and dryers are on every floor. The Villa del Sol condos offer maid services and laundry wash-and-fold services, at the front desk.

The condo has ceramic tile floors throughout, with a private bedroom, twin bunk beds, two large closets for clothing and storage, a mini-office, new TV with built-in DVD player, and is fully furnished. The bedroom has a large closet, dresser, nightstand with lamp, a ceiling fan, and queen-sized bed. The kitchen has a granite-tiled breakfast bar with seating for two, and a small dining table and chairs for 4 more. Appliances include full-sized refrigerator, range/oven, toaster oven, microwave, toaster, and coffee pot. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, and plenty of cooking utensils for six.

 

The living room includes a comfortable sofa/futon that can be converted to a full-sized guest bed.

 

All this with a fabulous view of the beach and the soothing sounds of the waves from your private balcony!

 

Seafood restaurants, cafes, and Mexican food are within walking distance towards the USS Lexington and the Aquarium. Shopping, groceries, and more dining are a 5-minute drive north to Portland. Downtown Corpus Christi's restaurants, clubs, and museums are just over the beautiful bridge. And Staples Mall and the causeway to North Padre Island are 15 to 20 minutes away.

More about Villa del Sol and North Beach

Villa del Sol is landscaped with beautiful gardens as well as four barbecue and picnic areas. Laundry facilities are located on every floor, and all three buildings have elevators on the street-side. The grounds are completely enclosed by fencing and secured by electronic gates. The community has just installed a manned gate at the entrance to the parking areas.

 

The swimming pools and hot tubs are also fenced and locked. Only owners are allowed to have pets, and there are designated areas for walking dogs.

The exterior and hallways of the buildings are undergoing renovations. You can see the progress as the buildings change color and the balconies are freshened up! Plans are under way to provide food and drink concessions to supplement the vending machines.

Walking, fishing, volleyball, sand-castle building, or playing with water toys are options any time. A fish-cleaning table and running water are provided at the beach end of Building 1. Two swimming pools and children's pools are located in the front of the first and third buildings, and the first building's pool is heated in winter. The Tiki Tubs are located in the front of Building 2 and are soon to feature drink service. Guests staying at Villa del Sol can check out volleyballs and nets from the front desk.

There are nine acres of guest parking and unassigned covered parking. Soda and snack machines are located near the elevators in each building, and each floor has an ice machine. You can get your newspapers each morning at the machines across from the front desk, and stop in to see what events are posted on the bulletin board. There are lots of activities that owners, guests, and visiting groups organize. You can participate in as many or as few as you like.

Villa del Sol is a friendly place and a great place to enjoy beachfront living!
